Slonakers did a great job with our driveway. Our driveway was 15 years old, rutted out and in very poor condition. They came out as soon as we called and gave us a quote with different options on how to handle the drainage of the water runoff that was causing the ruts. We accepted the quote with their recommendations for a culvert and new drainage ditch. The folks that performed the work were amazing. They made sure everything was done right and provided us with a very high quality asphalt driveway. I have no doubt that it'll hold up for years.

Slonaker custom paving resurfaced, or rather repaved, the driveway for my home (March 2020). Truly, it was only a resurfacing job and the driveway I have now is much thicker than the driveway Dan Ryan Builders provided. Slonakers Paving & Excavating came & gave us an estimate in September 2019. We have been in our house for over 19 years and it needed some work! The guy who came (sorry - I can't remember his name 😀) was so informative. We discussed a previous company who gave us a verbal estimate but Slonaker's wrote up what we wanted on an official document & put prices for various things we discussed so we could make an informative decision. Told me when they would expect to get us on their schedule & we were done in mid October. They widened our driveway so now my husband doesn't hog the entire driveway!!

I called Slonakers to come out and do an estimate to repave and expand my driveway in early April. I met up with a representative who was professional. He provided me with an estimate 2 days later. I advised I would send the contract back once I received the HOA approval to expand the driveway. I sent back the signed contract on 4/20/21 (week and half after receiving the estimate) stating I am ready for them to schedule and they replied the will put me on the schedule and let me know. I sent a follow up email on 5/6 asking if the had a date scheduled (no response as of yet). Called them on 5/12/21 and lady kept asking for my order number several times as if she did not have it in the system at all. Then came back on phone saying someone will have to call me back. Guess this is not a very professional company.

I used Slonakers to widen my driveway and make an extra space to accommodate 3 cars across. They did an excellent job and I couldn’t be happier! Severely disappointed with the service. Had my driveway paved and had a small area that was holding water so I was assured that they could fix that. Well they slapped down a patch that was not blended into the surrounding driveway. But it was stated to me that the area that held water would now be reduced to about 1/4 of the original size of the puddle and that they would seal the driveway for free to make it all look alike. After the last rain the problem area has grown to about 3 times the original size and after repeated calls I still have yet to hear from them. The driveway remains unsealed. I now have to pay another company to come in and fix their mistake. Would never recommend this company.

Just finished my driveway……wish I would have taken before pictures to show the miracle they performed in the transformation of our existing driveway!!….there is a reason they have so many 5 star reviews!! They actually showed up half a day early to do some pre-work. They were back here the next day to finish when they said they would be here….The crew was nothing short of professional and friendly!! When Mr Slonaker became aware that I had a problem with my driveway, he personally came out to inspect the work. He gave me his word that he would make my driveway right and he was absolutely a man of his word. He brought his best crew and completely redid my drive at no cost to me. He stated that I had paid for a new driveway and that is what I deserved. It's not often that I am surprised but this company did exactly that. Mr Slonaker stood behind his word and put value to his companies work. I would like to thank Mr Slonaker and his crew. My driveway is beautiful. Thank you so much and I will be recommending this company to all my friends and anyone that needs paving of any kind.

Amazing! We've had a gravel driveway for years and wanted to get it paved. After talking to Slonakers we decided to go with them to get the driveway paved and widened. They also installed a drain near the garage and tied one of our downspouts into it. They were here on time and worked quickly. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend them to friends and family. They also went above and beyond on one agreed upon item.

I went with Slonakers because their commercial work looked quality. I scheduled an appointment, got an estimate of $700 to reseal my driveway, and repair an alligator crack. They said it would be two weeks back in August of 2021. It took them 6 months to ever come. It was an absolutely horrible job, and they did not do the repairs they originally quoted me for but charged me the same. I asked, for at least a repair of the alligator crack, which they then quoted me $3700 to come back and fix their work. I have included photos of both my driveway, and my neighbor who used a different company for the same job. Please note my neighbor had theirs sealed 2 years ago in the photos across the street!! My driveway looks like this after only two months! Please please do not use this company, for your sake. I will continue to leave these reviews until I’m contacted for the contracted repair they promised or a full refund. Worst service I’ve experienced.

This is the second time I’ve used this company and wouldn’t recommend another!The quality of the work is amazing and the response time and service is bar none in the area! For the latest project I asked for an extension of my driveway and it looks beautiful.Hell they even fixed a spot on the driveway where the intense heat these last few weeks caused some breakage. That alone has earned my business for life!If you’re on the fence about this company, the quality of work alone should swing you to their door but fixing something when they didn’t have to is top tier! Slonakers was absolutely amazing! From the beginning to the end I was very much in touch with customer service, the servicemen, and even the owner took time, for me. My servicemen were Thad and Louis. Thad is so personable, and knowledgeable. They both were amazing. Showed up early, and from start to finish worked hard! My biggest point I want to give in this review is that Slonakers paving has customer satisfaction put first, and absolute quality craftsmanship. Most (OTHER) businesses this day use inferior products, and take advantage of reselling everything to a customer over, and over. They don’t care about the customer at all. They want to sell as many services as possible, with the cheapest products in production. Business practices today are very predatorily focused on consumers wallets. That is NOT how Slonaker’s Paving operates 💪 !!! I am so incredibly happy 😊 with them!!! Take time to review my pictures, and you will see the level of detail they went thru to do things right. My driveway was horrible, and now it is the finest looking in my neighborhood. I am so happy to use this company, for the rest of my life. Specifically, because I know they will have my back to get the job completed perfectly every-time. Don’t hesitate with Slonakers! They will go to any lengths to be fair, and see you happy. Peace of mind when purchasing is important. I would much rather buy something once, for a competitive price then buy it twice because the company cuts corners. Remember you get what you pay for! We had Slonakers Paving come and replace our gravel driveway with asphalt. They did an absolutely amazing job. They removed the old gravel, put a proper base down, graded it so the water wouldn't come near our house, then paved. The edges are straight and professionally done. The driveway is a full 3" thick everywhere. My driveway looks amazing! I couldn't have asked for anything better.

We are very pleased with our driveway. They were quick to come out and give me an estimate and when they actually did the work, all the workers were very professional and did a great job. Sadly, the in between was horrible! When I would call the office, Tawana acted like I was bothering her. I called to see if they had a schedule date yet as it had already been 6 weeks. I wasn't concerned that it was taking a while, I have waited 15 years to get the driveway paved a few more weeks wouldn't matter. But I did want to pencil in a date. Each time I called, she would tell me I wasn't on the books yet. It wasn't until I requested to speak with a manager that she came back to the phone and said they were coming Monday!?! (This was Friday late afternoon!) I told her no, that would not work, we were getting ready to leave for vacation. I then gave her a 2 week period from after we got home (that gave them 3 1/2 weeks) to pick whatever date they wanted and to let me know. On my last day of vacation, I check my email and what do I see?! An email saying they are coming the next day! I responded NO, and said to pick a day from the original 2 weeks. This was a process that didn't need to be so stressful. I'm sure Tawana is a very nice person but this job is not for her!!Here is a picture of my driveway, that part we are very happy with!!By the way, I think it is funny that Tawana Heltzel posted a review of how great everything was. LOL

If we could give Slonakers Custom Paving 10 stars then we would. They are absolutely the best company we have ever dealt with.Five years ago they put in a brand new driveway at our house, which was so professionally done we could not have imagined how good it would look.We have now moved to another house and badly needed repairs to the existing driveway. We had many dips and sunken areas which filled with rainwater and in the winter froze over. Some were deep. We knew it would be a big undertaking.We asked Slonakers to come out and see if there was a way to overcome the problem. They always arrive exactly when they say they will and sure enough Andy came out at the prearranged time to have a look. He explained that they would need to dig up the area with all the dips and hollows and put a drain completely across the driveway with a pipe going down into the garden.On the agreed date they came and dug the driveway up, put in a very good looking drain, dug the garden for the pipe and then proceeded to lay the new asphalt and make everything good.The end result is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they came back to make sure it was all perfect.Please don't bother using any other company, this company is totally committed to making the customer happy. They give 110% and the results speak for themselves.Thank you so much Slonakers for looking after us so well, we truly appreciate all of your time and effort and all the kindness you showed us.A huge thank you to Billy for all you have done for us, to Ashley for the phone calls and emails to keep us informed and Martin for a wonderful job.
